We are patiently awaiting the closing on our new house. We've been renting for the last year, leaving so many things in boxes and every day hating the rental house a little bit more. We've pinched many pennies and saved up to buy a home, and we knew we weren't going to settle with just anything. With our end-of-lease date approaching, we spent several weekends roaming through houses that barely checked off the checklist. Then it just fell in our lap (thanks to an amazing realtor friend Christy!). It's just about perfect. 4 bedrooms, check. large flat backyard for the kids, check. two car attached garage, check. finished basement family room man room, check. paved driveway, check. outside of Zanesville schools, but no more than 7 minutes from the northend, check. then it got harder... decent sized master bedroom with must-have-or-i-refuse-to-buy-this-house walk-in closet, check. master bathroom so we don't have to share with the kids anymore, check. then it got even harder... storage room for all my junk, check! and last, but certanly not least, a playroom for the kids.... CHECK! Every door we opened, we loved it a little more. Plus, it had things we didn't even ask for... a dining room addition, a screened in porch, several closets, the you're-gonna-be-jealous-of-our 30x18 master bedroom with deck! Now don't get me wrong, it definetly needs some good ol' "elbow grease". But it's nothing we can't handle. We're taking this challenge head on, budgeting and prioritizing the projects, and feeling thrilled to know we have a home to settle in for the next decade!

Man Room needs to not be crossed out!!
haha. okay other way around.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment!! I am so glad that you were able to get your babies! My dr would always tell me, "PCOS is just a devastating disease & people don't realize it!" But they are all worth it in the end, I'm sure! We (or our dr) thought we were having twins because I had 3 eggs at the time of IUI and my betas were really high.. but just one little bean!
Congrats on your house!!! I can't wait to see pictures! I am going to go find you on pinterest right now :)
Thanks for the congrats! Your gender reveal party looked so cute, I would definitely do that if we were having another one. Cherish every moment, they go by so fast! Take care!
